The magic lantern
...and hand painted slides for home entertainment from around 1862. A typical professional lecture by a showman from the 1860s "en miniature". Divided into three parts, popular science (astronomy & geology), travel and finally comic scenes & the chromatrope. All supplied by the new founded workshop (in 1861) of Lorenz Neussner in Nuremberg.
